In the next Yankee IABC session, learn how to create award-winning communications from Jeffrey David Ory, ABC, APR, and IABC Director, New Orleans chapter.

Jeffrey will share case studies of Gold Quill award-winning work in all categories, from Employee Communications to Public Relations and more. You will learn:

  • How to demonstrate the success of your communication
  • How to utilize research to identify a baseline
  • How to measure results thoroughly

Following Jeffrey’s presentation, expert panelists will share their own experiences creating and evaluating award-winning work:

  • Tom Roux (panel moderator) – Yankee IABC’s immediate past-president and current IABC Heritage Region Chapter Liaison. Participated in the Blue Ribbon Panel judging for the 2009 Gold Quill Awards.
  • Jan Thibodeau, ABC – Former chair of the IABC Research Foundation, member of the IABC Board of Directors, and Gold Quill Award winner. Specializes in talent development strategy development and training for leaders, managers and individual contributors.
  • Lorna Mackey – A local communication consultant. Winner of over 30 awards for her work and on behalf of her clients, including four Gold Quill awards.

ABOUT OUR PRESENTER & PANELISTS:

Jeffrey Ory is a communication professional with experience in public relations, media relations, community relations, strategic communication, event planning and publication design and layout. He is recognized globally and has worked on projects that have earned the highest national and international honors in the profession, including two of the pinnacle recognitions in the communication profession: The IABC Gold Quill Award and Jake Wittmer Research Award.
