We know that one of the major reasons communicators join IABC is to help identify career opportunities – especially in difficult economic times. We also know that one of the top destinations on our website is the job opportunities section.
To increase the number of job listings and further enhance the value of your chapter membership, we are retooling our Job Bank. Rather than listing jobs (or internships, or project-based contract opportunities) on the YankeeIABC.org website, we are now housing our Job Bank within our YIABC LinkedIn Group, which is accessible only to chapter members. And it’s now free to post an opportunity. Read on for details…

Job Bank benefits for Yankee IABC members:

  • Exclusive access to job openings, contract opportunities, and internship placements listed in the Jobs section of YIABC’s LinkedIn Group
  • Direct e-mails alerting you to newly posted opportunities (when subscribed to YIABC LinkedIn group notification)
  • Ability to post job listings for your organization.

Easy instructions for posting an opportunity (LI Group Members only):

  1. Click on the ”Jobs” tab in the LinkedIn Group
  2. Click on any of the links to “Post a job”
  3. Complete the fields shown:
  • Job Title
  • Additional Details – In this box include key responsibilities and contact information (name, email, phone) for the benefit of interested candidates
