Maximize your conference experience by volunteering your time!

If you’re planning to attend the Heritage Region Conference in Hartford, the best way to network, improve your skills, and make friends is to get involved!

Volunteering is an IABC tradition that has had an immeasurable positive impact on conferences, programming and professional development for both members and non-members throughout the world. IABC volunteers are active, dynamic, creative individuals who possess the skills, desire, patience, and time to accomplish a wide variety of tasks.

For the regional conference, IABC/Heritage offers a wide range of committee activities with varying time commitments. Get the most from your networking opportunities at the conference by volunteering.

Working alongside other IABC volunteers, you’ll:

  • Build and strengthen relationships with other members
  • Develop skills and build experience in areas outside of your paying job
  • Demonstrate your commitment to IABC and the profession

No matter your situation or the time you have available, you’ll find a volunteer opportunity that will fit your schedule. Committees include:

  • Registration
  • Marketing
  • Dine-Around
  • Speakers

Volunteers will be recognized in many ways, including on a post-conference URL at the Heritage Region IABC Web site.
