Volunteering

Yankee IABC is a totally volunteer-run organization. Your involvement helps the organization operate more creatively and effectively AND creates great learning and networking opportunities for you.

We customize volunteer projects to your interests and schedule so you need not worry about being overburdened by work or time commitments. This makes the volunteer experience enjoyable for you and fruitful for us.

Opportunities include the following:

Writing copy to publicize or summarize our professional development programs.
Contributing ideas and features to our website or newsletter.
Planning events that draw communicators together.
Creating and executing strategies to build membership and the volunteer base.
Developing networking opportunities as a Yankee IABC ambassador.
